Why no option to accept or decline a challenge?

When looking for a game by means of Create a Challenge, why is there no option to decline or accept a challenge from a particular player, especially when the same person challenges you repeatedly and you want to play somebody different? I'm talking about unrated games here, so it's not about rating filters.

When you create a challenge, the system will try to automatically find a valid pairing. You can't decline a challlenge you requested. You can decline one when someone challenges you.

If the same person grabs your challenges, for ones that aren't auto matched, you could temporarily block the so they can't.

Thank you! Somebody was playing well above their rating and obviously saw me as convenient low hanging fruit ripe for picking! So, temporarily block a particular player.

Block them.

"Block them" doesn't sound very useful, especially when the game is already stuck in your queue.  I think people are simply looking for a polite way to say "no, thank you."
