Yeah exactly Alyssa, you cannot force people to like chess, but some peoples mother and father want them to learn chess just like they want them to learn swimming and I don't like swimming, but still some things are important to learn but you cannot try to switch other peoples opinions.

People don't like things that make them look stupid. I've seen this in a lot of people that I've tried getting into chess. They get crushed and since they don't have anything else to blame but their lack of skill, they blame the game.
that is bad.
