Having said that, there isn't actually a lot of hate for lower rated players... but it only makes sense that generally speaking higher rated players know more, and have less ridiculous conceptualizations and opinions.
i eat 1300-1400's for breakfast, yet my rating is somehow still 1300...
Most people who say this are silly, but at a glance it seems your rating is on the way up.
It doesn't bother me in the slightest (full disclosure, my blitz rating is only 1360 right now, it's been in the high 1380s and almost went over 1400 today). As a retired lawyer with successful big league outings, I was and may still be hated by people of serious consequence, but that doesn't bother me in the slightest either. I aspire to win more than half of my blitz games, and I'm almost there. I would get there faster if I only played in the mornings between my first and second cups of coffee, and maybe if I wore a sword on my belt.

The reason it is hard to get over half is that when you do your rating goes up and the opponents then get tougher.....if you play long enough it should stay around 50% even if your rating goes up or down.....
