Why is his content not available? Why can't he post comments anymore? What is his crime NOW? He won a diamond membership just one day ago in this thread by complimenting Chess.com and its glory and brilliance. How ironic - for Chess.com to mute him after that! There better be a good explanation

Well... regardless of the extent to which it is or isn't his fault, if the staff really doesn't want people posting before the daily puzzle, then it should make it technically impossible to do so by fixing the programming. I don't think that's terribly difficult.

But that's like saying everyone who goes to see Star Wars should be gagged, to stop one of them shouting out "EDITED this part out due to unfavourable reaction"

They did fix it, and you're right it wasn't difficult. Probably took 2 or 3 click to mute him

Why could it not have happened to someone that is really annoying? The people that post after the puzzle, 'I'm first, page 1 look at me! ' are equally if not more annoying.

Chess.com could simply implement the same module that they use for their tactics trainer instead of posting the daily puzzle in a forum, this would eliminate the potential for this to happen. Given the time and resources that they have put into muting people for such offenses and addressing them afterward (as erik has in this forum), it seems like it would be a wise investment.
