Having the most powerful pieces in a game can also be a hindrance, especially if their queen is more active, so trading them off makes things easier. Obviously, this is about reduction verse blunders but one should not be afraid to trade, especially in certain scenarios like having a material advantage or a favorable pawn structure.

Invariably, each and every chess player would have lost their queen .
I don't think any player could openly say, i have not lost my queen in all the hundreds/thousands of game which would have been played.
The queen comes with a tag " Handle with care". If carefully handled the piece will obey you and help in an attack. Careless handling, we loose the queen and the game too.
Queen being such a powerful piece which helps in an attack, some how we commit blunder of loosing it and their by loosing the game. It may be an oversight or taking queen for granted we don't bother it's supported or not. We assume, queen being so powerful, in the thick of an attack, we are more concerned about carrying out a possible mate, we overlook the queen not being with a support.
One has to be extra cautious while handling the queen.
Any more tips not to loose the queen ?
