Why we play chess

I play since 1976, that year my best friend taught me my first chess moves,he did this because he was in a club,so he crushed me in every game, an eight year kid is a bad coach.
this gave me the will to be a "decent player" almost fifty years later i still didnt reach that goal,i am still a wood pusher.
I often compare, chess to juggling,'i am a juggler too, 5balls 5, ring juggle...it's pointless.
for juggling its simple you cant fight gravity, there is an analogy in chess, too much combinations you cant solve it,even computers when they play together finaly loose, they too dont play a perfect game (chess is a draw with perfect play).
i was for forty years a carpenter, then my body was crushed,i couldnt lift anything anymore,i had to make a reconvertion, now i draw houses, last year my contract ended (one year contract),i was paid the lowest price possible.
i was helpless, but i realised my boss didnt play chess,, instead of saying to me okay we make a contract reconduction but for the same amount, just be happy to have a job!
he tried to force the position (never force a position when you're winning)
the story ended me having a 600 euro raise and a much better contract, l wish you all too meet people that dont play chess, life is much easier with them
I think we play chess for our brain. Are you agree this. I think chess is best mind game.
