Personally, I think he might win, then again, he might not.

Sindarov winning the candidates was clear after his performance in the first games

The problem is Sindarov vs Gukesh. If Gukesh was in the candidates, then Sindarov will most likely beat him. But right now, it's hard to say since Gukesh is kinda known for his prep, and he might try to create some Sindarov-counter style and lines. I think both really have good chances and it's hard to decide. I would say the odds for winning are 60% for Sindarov compared to 40% for Gukesh

I certainly agree with this, and Gukesh has shown good resilience in the past (he has dropped quite a bit in rating recently, but my pick goes to Sindarov (he's been my favourite player since the 2021 World Cup, so it's cool to see him make it this far!) Either way, it will certainly not be a one-sided championship, though.

I have to give Sindarov the edge in there W.C.C match, nothing against Gukesh nice enough guy but as world champion he has not won any of the major classical events, pretty bad season so far, he has come 3rd or 4th in events but this is not good for him, I understand its tough out there with so many G.Ms now over 2700 but considering its Gukesh's area its not a good season so I have to go with Sindarov as he is ultra confident and the + Factor Gukesh would have to win the title on a plus score and avoid any Tie Break because Sindarov is a Blitz genious, even beaten Magnus twice so Gukesh will need to win in Classical and Sindarov in playing very well so going to be a tough but no doubt interesting encounter!!?

I'm low-key believing that Sindarov has like a 70% chance of winning. Gukesh has been going really badly recently so that's prob why
