Weird. How did @BesOr8 post disappear without that person getting banned?
Maybe it's a returning user who was insta-muted after their first post? But that seems weird.
Thanks for all the answers. Pardon if that was basic.
This screenshot shows a preceding scenario. Wondering if white could've avoided a draw at that point,
W. to move:

OP didn't put notation. For all we know the pawn could be on a7.
Yeah sorry, pawn's on H2

I'd probably play Kc6, and of course start pushing the pawns. You can, for example trade your a pawn to win the d pawn, but by that time black's h pawn should be an equal rival to white's c pawn, so looks like a draw.

Oh, that's a new feature, cool, I just tried it out.
In the past we weren't able to delete our own comments like that.
(Didn't see Bacon's post until after making mine)
Its still a draw anyway (I think)

I think so.
I randomly clicked on Hikaru's games (I never look at people's games on chess.com, this might be the first time)
And saw him win this equal endgame.
I was impressed he went after the king side pawns to give himself winning chances. He could have taken the a pawn and it'd probably have been a draw.

EDIT: Title should've obviously read, "or" not "a", typo...
Is this a draw or is a mate possible? Black trying to promote, White to move:
