How are winning and losing points determined at the end of a game?

https://www.chess.com/article/view/chess-ratings---how-they-work Basically it uses a formula based on yours and your opponent's rating and whether it's a win, loss, or draw.

You get about 10 points for beating someone your rating.

Less if they're rated lower than you.

More if they're rated higher than you.
