Thats how.

With that thread alone, I have forever reserved a spot for myself in the annals of chess.com. But if there are still people who are unconvinced, here's just a tiny taste of some of my numerous other great troll threads:

https://www.chess.com/forum/view/off-topic/the-trolling-tree

https://www.chess.com/forum/view/community/sorry-for-forum-trolling

https://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/invinted-a-new-opening-how-do-i-get-it-named-after-me

https://www.chess.com/forum/view/general/rook-or-2-queens

https://www.chess.com/forum/view/more-puzzles/282016---missing-the-obvious

And that doesn't include the EPIC thread that I'm about to post in the near future (stay tuned, everybody, so you don't miss it!).

The threads speak for themselves.

Haha, very funny. Believe it or not, I knew someone was going to make that joke as I was writing the comment.

But if I really have to spell it out, I fundamentally altered the status of trolling by 1. making trolling mainstream, and 2. redefining what trolling is. To be sure, there were trolls before me, incuding great ones, but the rare exception aside they did not call themselves trolls. But I was different - I wore the word, first directed at me as a slur during a serious discussion, as a badge of honor. When I created my first Troll of the Month thread, it was moved to off topic by the mods within a matter of hours. However, that did little to prevent my thread from taking off. Soon the bulk of the chess.com forum community, including many mainstream posters who normally would not have deigned to associate themselves with a "troll," had posted in my thread. At the time, my name became synonymous with trolling. Other trolls also began to title of "troll" for themselves, and some who were inspired by my threads began to imitate my style - which, unlike what people normally think of as trolling, is focused more on being funny and entertaining than annoying and offensive (although I never apologize or back down when people accuse me of the latter qualities). In the middle of one of the later Troll of the Month cycles, I also founded the Egalitarian Troll Society, which quickly became the largest troll group on chess.com. The recently created Chess.com Troll University (TrollU), which people today may be more familiar with, originated from an idea that I proposed in the ETS forums. It's safe to say that without me, trolling on chess.com would not be what it is today.

But anyway, I don't like to brag (even though my profession sometimes requires that I do). I still believe in letting my work speak for itself. I welcome challenges to my throne by trolls and non-trolls alike, because it motivates me to not rest in my laurels, and maintain the me-against-the-world mentality that got me to where I am today. Sometime over the next few days, I will release an epic thread which might be my best work since the Troll of the Month competitions (with the possible exception of The Trolling Tree, which in my opinion is my best thread in terms of pure quality). When that day comes, the identity of the greatest currently active troll on chess.com will be clearer than ever.

I've actually "won with the bong"

very satisfying.  make sure you tell your opponent that its the WORLDS WORST opening.  it makes the win better and more likely.

What an ugly sight! Unfortunately, that's what tends to happen when a weak troll clashes with me, the greatest currently active troll on chess.com!

Frenchbasher has you beat, sorry. And Kingshindig does everything you do.

It's "kingofshedinjas"

Your welcome.

To clarify... are you talking about me, or someone actually called The Great Troll, who posted in this thread and then got banned?
