I'm going to dedicate my first free day of summer to only chess so that I might manage to get past 1000 elo by the end of the week that I start that. It has taken me a month of inconsistent playing to go from 400 elo to 600, but I hope that with consistent play I should be able to do it. What do y'all think?

Quick edit: most of my games analyse me around 900-1200, though my highest was in the 2000s (the chess engine analysis, not real rating)

Aim for incremental progress. If you don't hit 1000 immediately, that's okay. The important thing is to keep improving.

I mean, most people call 100-1200 elo beginner level, and ive been playing for a few years. Might as well aim high if im gonna waste my time anyways
