It’s these kind of people that cause events like international women’s day to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Although I know not all are like the op, it seems highly probable that the ones who invented these celebrations are.

He was right about women not being treated as equals today. There’s a lot of misogyny that happens today, and I wouldn’t say that men and women are considered equal just yet.
Oh yeah, I wasn't saying that man and women are currently equal. Especially here in Italt tho, the situation is pretty critical
If we are unequal, then we just repeat history. We should just ignore the past, and live in the present where we are all (basically) equal

Yeah, that's a huge issue everywhere around the world. In the US, it's not so bad, but it's definitely safe to say that women and men aren't considered equal, and that's sad to see.

Now in modern culture, there’s a lot of misogyny towards white men, because they are seen as the evil people who did all the horrible wrongs to women and people of colour. We aren’t able to escape the stereotype of the colonizing, controlling white man anymore.
I long for equality like anyone else. But I think apart from wage gaps, we achieved equality a long while ago and now are going the opposite way with certain things
I just wish we could judge people entirely on how they are as people instead of bringing race or gender into the equation at all

I would have to disagree. White men are most entitled to anything more than anyone else. White men are always the ones to make decisions for countries, states, provinces, and whatnot. I don't think there's much hatred for them like you're saying, at least not here in the US.

I think that's what most people can agree on. Unfortunately, though, there are a few greedy individuals that use race and gender to their advantage.
Maybe it’s different idk, but here in Canada:
Women, LGBTQ+ and Indigenous people have priority university admissions and in consideration for government jobs
White men are seen as racists and bigots automatically by anyone else
White men qualify for basically 0 government benefits while being given no extra opportunities than women
Maybe it’s also a state by state thing in the US but judging by what some people from America I’ve talked to have said, it’s a pretty similar situation there at least in some areas
