It needs to be 4 moves to count
Won a daily game but didn't get points, any explanation why
why would you expect rating points from a game when you did nothing to progress towards achieving a win, besides making 2 moves?
because he won

The site registers the win on time but there is no rating adjustment if they played less than 5 moves

The under 4 moves thing is why I resigned a bunch of games in 0-3 moves as u can see. When I signed up for those tournaments I had no idea they were DOUBLE round robins (they should mention that) which isn't what I meant to sign up for. BUT... I did know games weren't rated if they were under 4 moves, could be 5, so I used that to get rid of half the games.
Its good info to have.

thats just bad sportsmanship, that rule is supposed to be so people don't get rating inflations because you can't even get a good advantage in 4 moves unless your opponent is trying to lose.

I never would've done that had there not been false advertising for the tournament. They lead u to think its a round robin only to find out later u have to play a gazillion bagillion games u never intended to. I'm always cordial & sportsmanlike when I play, I even private messaged my opponents beforehand to apologise & explain my reasoning. Nah, I'm never rude to my opponents.
