If you viewed the topic after it was blue that probably means unread and gray means read.. That's the way the links look as well

You actually have a good point. I didn't notice this myself! Like Martin noted, it's probably a read/unread difference. On my end it continues to be gray, but who knows, it might revert to blue again later on...
