1. F3 is considered the worst
Worst chess opening?
1. g4 is worst.
If you run Stockfish against itself, white loses after 1. g4.
That does not happen after 1. f3 or any other first move.
I've fallen for the grob's shenanigans at 1700-1800.
Grob (1.g4) is theoretically the worst, but probably more an asset than a handicap at normal levels of play. King's Gambit might be the worst from a practical perspective, as almost all the variations are easier to play for black. Bird's Opening (1.f4) is quite risky too. I would advise not to play any of those openings. There's no need to weaken the king side in the opening, you can play f4/g4/h4 later, if you feel that's to your advantage.
The London is bad in the court of public opinion due to its lack of appeal. It is objectively solid. There are ways to play against the London to make for an interesting game.
Ive seen ppl talk about good chess opening, but what are bad opening, I can argue the bombcloud or the bird opening because they are very bad
