Does anyone know what happened to him? Account closed and his forum posts may have been deleted.

Strange. They deleted all his wonderful posts too. Those posts could have helped others.

There are much better resources on this site.

He was bragging in one of his posts how he was sandbagging in order to beat up beginners with weird openings... I guess some admin didn't like that ...

They need to do that to one more.....

I was always kind of curious about him. His prose was atrocious, and most of what he posted should have been deleted as spam, but he seemed to be a reasonably strong player who was willing to talk to weaker players

I've had National Masters spam my legit threads. They are still here...and still get away with it.

I would block those spamming masters if I were you instead of crying about it .  

xplayer has the most informative posts on this site, its a great shame its all gone, i learnt more from them then all the other threads put together

I can't remember their names right now. O.o. Maybe I want to keep them around in case they offer a flash of brilliance in what appears to be an otherwise dim evening.

I tried to warn him, but he just kep justifying it.

He was a carbon copy of @Daeth.  Both of them (probably) used silicon, and used the London System (i.e. Reversed Slav opening) to flog their advertisements.

He endlessly bragged and waxed poetic in the forums.  Yawn.

But when you looked at his games, they looked and smelled FISHY.

Good riddance.  He was a monstrous windbag.

Seemed like a nice guy to me.  Something must have happened that was egregious. Maybe he quit because people started making fun of him.

I remember couple of days ago he posted this thing where he said "yeah I'm losing on purpouse to play some junk openings!"... sandbagging is not nice, damn it.

Maybe the chess.com site automatically closed his account after detecting too many lols in his postings lol.

Anyway, I liked his style. Way better than all the Bobby Fischer nonsense on this forum.

I had no problem with him either.  I think what did it was his post about losing on purpose.  In fact he and i could disagree on somehting, and still be able to discuss it without getting abusive.

I didn't have a problem with him. I don't understand how he can think the BYP is 1500 skill and I disagree with his evaluations of a lot of opening stuff, but he didn't seem that bad.
