I'm finding that chess videos are now the single biggest thing pushing my game forward. More than playing, and more than even tactics (I'm better tactically than positionally at my rating) since the videos I've been watching have really been instructive in showing how to play middlegame/openings.
So if there's a favorite video series that's helped you a lot, shout it out!
The most common I'm sure will be the excellent ones by chessnetwork and Kingscrusher, although I will add that I bought "Killer Dragon" from Simon Williams, and it's been really, really good - I've never before had a whole slew of videos (12 hrs worth!) that all cover one opening/topic deeply, so it's really neat to see all the ideas coming together after you watch more than a few of them.
I'm thinking of buying Will Stewart's (5hr) endgame series as well. I've had beginner-type success learning endgames, and own several endgame books, but it's SO much easier to watch the video - it nearly killed me to manually enter variations from Fundamental Chess Endings by Lamprecht & Muller so much so that I almost gave up chess!
