Your opening against carlsen

If you were to play magnus carlsen what opening would u play against him as white

Plan A would be 1. Offer draw. In the event of a decline to my offer, I would play 1. Resign.

Openings do not matter when playing against Magnus. Prayers matter, though.

May as well stick to what I know best I suppose, 1.Nf3 transitioning to some sort of english or maybe a KIA. Procede to get whipped from there :)

If he plays e4 then I can play c6 the Caro Kann.

I don't think Carlsen is familar with THE GROB

I'm pretty sure you don't have to be too familiar with the Grob in order to beat it, especially at his level.  And if you open with the Grob, then all the prayers in the world won't save you.

Any of our openings would probably be our closings too. Lol. 

The Grob is very sharp I think a club player who memorized many lines could defeat Carlsen with it.

And by "very sharp" you mean "Black needs to avoid playing like an amateur in order to have a good game," I'm assuming.  Because it is not a good opening at all.

To put things in perspective: If it was a game between someone who's memorized a lot of lines in the Grob versus Carlsen when he's completely drunk, my money's on Carlsen.
