Your Record Number of Moves in Bullet

I think my longest bullet game was about 160 moves.
Hi Ziryab - Bullet, something new, something fun. On Youtube I just watched - Bullet Academy - Episode 1 - Premoves. An old video from 2014. FM Zibbit, rated 2500, only took 30 seconds to beat a 2000 who timed out using safe premoves and hovering. He played the London. An opening I know well. He didn't do anything fancy, like go for mate. He simply played safe and faster.
Now I'm wondering about what seems like silly things, board size, quality of mouse, if a one square move takes less than one second, etc. Time, time and time. I can see bullet helping my 5 0 play. Cool stuff.

Board size is important in my experience. It needs to be a size that works for you. Early in this century I played bullet using the touchpad of my laptop. Now, I do better with a mouse. I do even better on my iPad, but y phone is too small. Also, using a stylus on the iPad helps.

Does the stylus require any pressure on the glass? My finger pressure is sometimes heavy in the heat of the battle and slows me down.
Also, time scrambles under 5 seconds are tricky. I’m not always sure when it is my turn. Sometimes guys stack premoves. Other times, I’ll not know it is my turn when premoves happen on the side, like h7-h6. At my current bullet rating of 652, up from 449, I’m still winning most of my games with 15 seconds on the clock. All I do is make even trades, take free pieces, and the new thing, just make one square improving moves.
I’m actually leaning something from these very small, time saving improving moves. I’m finding better piece placement and coordination. Also, I can find ways to improve my king safety, stopping future attacks and allowing my opponent to waste time on these premature attacks.
Safe, risk free premove recaptures are a big time saver. Something I never did in 5 0.
I’m also getting lots of opening practice with my switch from 1.d4 to 1.e4.
I can see all of the above as improving my 5 0 blitz. I never thought that bullet could improve aspects of my Internet chess.

Minimal enough that I would not consider it pressure. Fewer piece drops (akin to mouse slips) than I get with my finger. I use the clear end.

I need sound on for bullet. Helps me know when it is my turn.

Thanks for the link! When I bought my iPad Pro when I retired in 2016, the Apple stylus was $100.00. I can do $14. I’ve been listening to music with headphones, missing that audible cue. Thanks.
Need to look into battery replacement for this 2016 model. It was the first model released. A retirement gift to myself. Served me well. The battery can’t handle a medium bright display and always needs to be plugged in, and with all of that, the battery percent still falls.
80? 100? Over 100? In theory, 600 moves could be played in 1 0.
I gave bullet a serious first time go. Fast! I played about 150 games. Crazy
Can you imagine telling someone from the 19th century that you played over 100 games in one day? My record was 43. Many games lost on time. Need to move faster!
To play faster, I tried a smaller screen size, faster pointer speed, pre-moves and universal setups.

I tried this universal setup in a few games, pre-moving the entire opening, sometimes blundering a piece. Something to work on!
