Hey,
I have a suggestion for the Tactics Trainer. When you're a free member now, you have to wait 24 hours after your last problem to be able to try new ones. For some reason the time when I can do my chess problems shifts each day.
For instance: this week on Monday, I did the 10 problems at about 7.30 PM. Each day I try to do them at the same time but, today, on Friday, it's 11.20 and I still can't do them.
Why not grant free members 10 new problems when a new day starts (at 00:00), so you can choose when it's most appropriate for you to do them?
I find it really annoying to sometimes have to wait till after midnight to do them..
Example to show the benefit of my suggestion:
Monday, 7.30 PM: you do your 10 problems
Tuesday, 4.30 PM: you have an appointment in the evening and do your problems in the afternoon.
Wednesday, 12.00 PM: just before bedtime you remember you didn't do your 10 problems yet.
Thursday, 10.30 PM: You had a rough day and want to go to bed, but thanks to the adjustment to the Tactics Trainer( ) you can do your chess problems before you got to bed.
And so on..
Do you see my point? It's still an average of 10 problems per 24 hours, but it's more comfortable for the users.
What do you think of my suggestion?
Kind regards
that's fine, but when do we do the restart? which time? 0:00 isn't the same for everyone... :) and if we do it for user-specified timezones, then we get people trying to trick the system...
