1500-2012 games

Ive downloaded some of the 1500-2012 games from the download area, but they unzip in a format (cb1) that changes with each game. How do you view those games?

It seems they maybe chessbase fromat. I tryed chessbase 7 from the downloads but it wont run on my computer, I'm now loading chessbase light 2009 to see if that will work.Please be relevant, helpful & nice!

Go to more/downloads, page 8. The first item is 1500-2012 years. Download that item, unzip it. Under each name unzip that and you get lots of game files. A few .CBH and the others are .cba,.cbb,etc. I downloaded chessbase light 2009 and it sees the files but still doesn't open them. How can they be viewed?

I sent a message to Genna Primorsky the publisher, but he is Russian so I dont know if he will be able to read it.Please be relevant, helpful & nice!
