No fair. My game was unrated and you undid it, but 2random's games were rated and you did not undo them.

You did not undo these unrated games either.

I think to be fair, you should restore my game.

I do not think Scholar's Mate and Legal's Mate work. But the below two openings do.

Ware Opening: Meadow Hay Trap

Kadas Opening: Beginner's Trap

What I don't understand is when someone goes to accept/decline a challenge, do they not SEE that the game is thematic and at least check out what opening they are playing?! Is there not a board right there that shows the position the game will start out with?? Anyone who is stupid enough to accept a challenge blindly without even looking at the opening they will be using deserves to lose.

I can't respect the idea that "user is assumed to be not stupid, therefore we can allow every stupidness at Chess.com since that's how it is". I still think this is a bug that should be fixed.

JMB2010

I do agree that the bug should be fixed, I just do not understand why 2ran was not given a warning first.

0random

Bro, maybe people just like to visit 1random's profile more than batgirl.

1random is a cool guy

@JMB yeah why wasn't 2random given a warning, its not even his fault

Talonflame_Fan

Hehe Erik didn't undo my game or Whitefangs game, but they were both unrated :D
Glad it's getting fixed.

I finished that game in less than 1 minute, it was unrated, and we both agreed to it. Also, thaks for fixing it. I was just seeing if it was true.

You  know theres an easy way to get your profile views up

Build a perpetual motion machine, get it to hit F5 on your computer, and rinse and repeat. Maybe thats what 1randomd did, right 1random?

Talonflame_Fan

You do realize that when you view your own profile your profile views don't go up...

Only when someone with a diferent IP reads your profile does your profile get an extra view, so basically you would need 2 accounts, which is against the rules.

MikeH76

Well, it's a bug that you have in your site. Technically speaking, 2random hasn't done anything illegal. Yes, it is unethical and childish, but it's not illegal. I don't think banning his account is the proper way to handle this.

exactly, or you're not signed in and keep reloading the page, right?

Yeah I think that works too, but I mean what's the point of trying to waste your time to get your profile views up...

Then they need a life

xD

Nearly half a million times?

0random

Just because you only have 2800 profile views, and no one cares about you, doesn't mean someone with about 20 times your profile views is doing anything wrong, I mean, jealousy isn't always the answer bro.

Well... that was pretty random.

johnyoudell

Ah, the green eyed God - always lurking somewhere.

I gather 1random and 2random are brothers (sorry, bros). Are you also related?

netzach

I know the "1,2 random players" from analysis of "sicilian dragons group" where cheating was rife:

Talonflame_Fan

Boom!

Talonflame_Fan

But then it's sorta flawed because if you play something like this in a nonthematic game -

Then you're rating would stay the same...

Talonflame_Fan

Lemme try that out right now.
