Why do I always get 3 points when played with a friend...and the friend gets more points no matter if it's a timeout or checkmate...But I only get 3 points enormous number of times..

Because you are rated more than 200 points higher than your friend. You are expected to win something like 90% of the games. That's why the number of points you get is small. On the other hand, when he wins, it's unexpected and he gets more points.
