Hey there @weirdgerman!! The post is off topic and is there so I would have thought a correct link would be pushed, no? Well, I'll get them right off their Home page then. It was odd that both links broke - doesn't happen very often particularly in tandem like that! Thank you so much!!

IM guessing coincidence, but normally you can still delete forum posts if theres 0 comments, which is how it likely happened

December 12th, I got notificaton that Seto had a post out but when I clicked it, it gave me this message. I figured he'd fix the link and I'd get it later. Now AwebsomeAtti released a post and same thing happened (attached).
I've cleared all browser data. It didn't help. I've gave the old three-finger-salute and that didn't help. I'm hoping those two haven't banned me from their information, LOL. So at the risk of embarrassment if they did, do you have any ideas on why it might be happening? Thank you!!
ADDED: I MIGHT have instead clicked links in forum (?) I don't remember now. I'm a click-a-holic when it comes to either of them AND many others that I follow.
Same issue, had to pick out his post from the friend’s list

The reason you got the 404 error is because the topic was originally posted in the general chess section and was later moved to off topic so the original url is no longer valid.
Thank you! Yes, but NOW when I click the link in their Home Page, it STILL gives me the error. Shouldn't, once they fix their link, it then use the new url? The issue is never resolved. I find it a bit bizarre. I wonder if they know their link isn't fixed. Maybe they should delete the prior link and add a new one? Thank you for helping me understand this issue!

Thank you, Martin! Do you think @KeSetoKaiba and @AwesomeAtti are aware that some folks will not try and find an active link which works (when they hit a broken link) so authors may miss out on some views? Maybe they should always create a new post which just contains link to new location and generates a new Notification (?). I hate to see viewers lose out and I hate to see authors lose some views ... all because Notifications won't undate (which I understand now).
