Resolved: 50 moves to a draw & 3 repetitions to a draw

Would someone please tell me what the protocol is for reaching a draw when the game has had three repetitive moves?  Also, what is the protocol when your opponent is unable to checkmate you with his rook and king?  I moved well over fifty times and chess.com never called it a draw!  Why the heck not?

You have to claim the draw by hitting the draw button.

its as browni says..  If you have done a 3 move repetition or done the 50 moves as you have said you  actually have to hit the draw button, and it will force the draw.
