Account closed 4 no reason

Hi, one of my buddies at school has a chess.com account. He got it closed all of a sudden without warning. He logged in and said it said his account was closed. He said he didn't troll anyone so being annoying is not a reason. IDK what it is but could someone in the staff restore his account?? His username is has7. He used to be an admin in Minecraft Fans, so people know him. Thanks for your help!

If he was admin, it was perhaps for spamming.

If one of your friends feel like their account was closed by mistake, or just wants to know why their account was closed, have them write to us directly.

he tried that but then he wasn't able to click the send button and its just a chess.com problem cause other websites we've been on let him click sendd/submit etc...

my friend (chessmaster102) has the same problem and its sad no one really cares sinc ethe very same can happen to them. He's not on the cheater list so can someone (staff or whoever) PM the problem ?? It bothers me cause we had so much we needed to do today (tournament set up) and chess.com randomly deactivating his account ruined everything

David;  you don't seem to be on the same page. Staff's responce was given 3 MONTHS ago.  Your post 7 makes no sense. This site doesn't care what other sites let you click.

It happened AGAIN!

Chess.com should fix that.

NO account is closed for NO reason. Chess.com is being curteous in not announcing the reason why in a public forum. The send button is for current members. Use regular E-mail for such issues.

My friend also had his account closed. :-(

He wasn't even cheating too. He was always respectful and curtious.Cry

IF he has a legitimate case, he should ask for an appeal. That's why its important you READ ALL THE RULES. There are many reasons for closing an account, and the're's 2 sides to every story. But don't ask for an appeal if you don't have a leg to stand on.

Hi guys! If anyone is worried that their account has been closed by mistake, please have them send in a ticket and we'd be happy to help them:

https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new

They don't need to have an open account to send in a ticket :)
