Accounts Closed of Admins!

Two of Team India's admins accounts have been closed - Lucknow_gambit and Prakashkv. While Prakashkv's account has been opened, Lucknow_gambit's account is still closed.

Team India has more than 4000 members. Obviously our admins will be sending more personnel messages and personal notes than others.

It is a pity that even after so many months of this problem of bogus spam related trigger of chess.com's engine, the issue has not been resolved.

Members should at least be informed of the rate of posting messages and notes that invokes such a 'spam alert' which results in account closing.

I didn`t even know an account can be closed due to too many sent messages.

Yes, it can be and is done. You also feel extremely humiliated and hurt when it hapens to you. You wake up in the morning, start your computer and BANG! You find yourself locked out of the site which invited you to join in the first place. It's a feeling like of a guest who was first invited and then thrown out of the host's home for no fault of his.

I believe no account is closed automatically. When the cheat or spam detection system finds a player suspicious a man will decide. Consequently, I think someone must have made a mistake. You should submit a ticket (if you haven`t done so) for an admin of a group with more than 4,500 members will send every day more PMs then I in a month.

Why don't they just make it so you can send messages from a group account rather than your own personal messages? Seems ridiculous.

Skand, please don't assume its for sending too many messages. In this case, its not.

Also it clearly shows on the right side of the page when sending messages;

Message Guidelines

#1 - Be nice! Send the kind of messages that you would want to receive.

#2 - DO NOT SEND INVITES (for Tournaments or Groups/Teams) through these messages. If you want to send invites, please read:

Inviting Members to your Group/Team

Inviting Players to your Tournament

Failure to follow these rules may cause your account to be suspended or deleted.

Thank you for keeping Chess.com fun & friendly!
