I have two accounts and I want to delete one. I have a diamond membership and would like to downgrade to platinum

According to another post from someone on staff, you don't need any help to downgrade.  Just click on the plan you want, confirm it, and it's automatically taken care of.  Haven't tried it my self, but sounds logical.  Here's the link:

Now as to deleting that second account just go here and right under the blue Facebook thingy is a very small print sentence you click on.

Contact Support via https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new - you'll need to close your second account once your other one is re-enabled, as the Terms of Service only permit one account per person

In what context? In V3, when you hover your mouse over the other person's name, a smaller box will appear with their highest rating and join date; if you then click on their name again, you will be taken to that person's profile. You can also navigate directly to their account via https://chess.com/member/<name>;

In V2, it's a little different - hovering over a person's name doesn't do anything, but clicking on it should take you to their profile straight away. The direct link there is https://chess.com/members/view/<name>, but either direct link should work in either version (it just translates the link into the other format)
