Advertising in Private Clubs - Allowed?

Hi, I would like to know what potential repercussions, if any at all, may arise from advertising or soliciting in a private club and who has the ability or authority to ascertain such behaviour as unwanted or spam.

Please refer to specific written rules, if you can.

Having thoroughly read the ToS and general posting guidelines I am under the impression, that private clubs are neither subject to the general forum rules, nor do offenses committed within them result in reprimands that extend beyond the bounds of such.

Up to this point, Staff and Mods have always perpetuated the notion, that virtually any unwanted or otherwise wrongful behavior displayed in a private club, unless borderline illegal, could at most be punished with a ban or mute within that club, but never outside of it, meaning the public forums and a member's account in full regarding the entire website.

Is it allowed in the club? if yes then yes If no then no

Rules within private clubs are set by the admins of that club and the moderators will not intervene on things normally not allowed in the public forums, like religion, politics or advertising. Your private club can swear as much as you like, but if it's getting racist or homophobic or illegal, we would step in when we became aware of it - private clubs do not have a complete carte blanche here or on most places on the internet.
