Because Aimchess seems to be owned by PLAY MAGNUS https://playmagnusgroup.com/brands/aimchess/ i asked them via email at ir@playmagnus.com on June 15th about Aimchess but got no answer until today.

Maybe Magnus https://www.chess.com/member/magnuscarlsen as a major shareholder of Play Magnus knows more?

Open the file C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts with a text editor (e.g., Notepad) as an Administrator.
Add a new line at the end of the file: 104.21.26.229 aimchess.com
Save the file, restart your browser, and access aimchess.com.
For Mac/Linux
Open the file /etc/hosts
Add a new line at the end of the file: 104.21.26.229 aimchess.com
Save the file, restart your browser, and access aimchess.com.

I mean by proper website not your method . Also how do u use this workaround on a android tablet?

I hesitate with following instructions on the internet which I don't know what it's exactly doing. Editing drivers files? Needing to change stuff as an administrator on my computer? Yikes. Ok, it might be that those reddit posters have good intentions, but I don't know them.

So I rather wait for a little longer. Back to my chess exercises at Chessable

DinosaurReid's info from Reddit is accurate, and pretty straight forward. You're just mapping the IP Address of Aimchess to your local machine. So instead of going to a DNS process to get the location, your PC already knows that IP Address is Aimchess.

I'd suggest removing it in a week or two, given their inability to renew their address on their own, but for now it works.

Unfortunately, this solution only works for computers and is not compatible with iOS or Android apps.
