Alerts not disappearing when clicked on.

Experiencing this too. It's very annoying. Not sure why it comes and goes.
One sensible idea is to send a message to chess.com, but they probably know about this, and by the time they read it, it's probably already fixed.

Use the "clear alerts" button and get rid of them all after they show up again.

That only works temporarily. I've had the same alert come back six times or more, after a few minutes pause.
There are also apparently delayed pings. 3 hours after the post I saw "New post from blueemu"

It seems to be returning back to normal for me now.
