Yes, of course you can use an engine to analyse games that have ended. Its a neat way, and may gain more depth in your analysis. Not sure about the computer analysis on the site though
Analysing my games with computer analysis

Hi, my question is:
Lets suppose i asked for a computer analysis on a game i played and they suggest a specific alternative play and then give me a series of plays following that suggested line.
What if i wanna know how to respond to another play by my opponent on that line?
For example, i play e3, computer suggests e4 and then tells me that e4 will be followed by b6. What if i wanna know how to respond if my opponents plays b5 instead of the alternative b6? Is there any way to do that?
If it isn't possible, is it ok to use a chess engine (or something like that) to do what i just asked on games that already ended?
Thank you
