I don't have sound mproblems. But I do have problems with other games taking ove r my games and as a result I lose on time trying to get back can't something be done about it it's so frustrating especially when your winning
anybody else has sound problems?
Yes, I have this problem as well; and, as you say, it's very annoying. Are you on a Mac, by chance? I'm running Safari 9 on a MBP. I haven't tested the problem on any other machines.

I have major sound problems. Sometimes I don't hear when the opponent moves sometimes I don't hear my moves, which matters less.
This is one of the many many reasons I wish chess. com did the same as ICC where people can download and install a software and use it to play chess.
There are simply no issues - at least no in my case - with ICC. NONE!
Chess. com has some major issues. But what do you expect when you rely on browsers of various kinds, java, flash...blah blah blah......
I've even had to resign games because sometimes several of my pieces just disappear.
Not to mention the silly stuff you have to go through to let go of a piece. You can't just drag it off the board or it'll attach it self to the mouse and now you have to start clicking in select areas just to let go of the dang piece........too many things to mention.

i just downloaded firefox and it works very well now. I want to keep Safari as main runner and will use firefox only for blitz i guess.

It's worth noting that a certain free, open-source chess.com competitor (not sure if we're allowed to mention competitors by name, so I'll play it safe...) has none of these sorts of issues. In fact, it's light years ahead of all the paid chess servers out there in pretty much every way (including training tools that make chess.com's look downright silly). And... ok, I'm venting... I'll shut up now;-)

i still have sounds problem with firefox now

I don't have any sound in Live chess though they have fixed it 4 times in the last week, everytime in the next few hours sound disappears and I can't send anymore bug reports to the staff about this problem, I'm tired, maybe I will stop playing live

no sounds again today, this is more than annoying, I lost so many games on-time because I can't follow the moves of my opponent immediately
Live chess is not fun anymore, it's rather a nerves torture

I lose the sound everyday but I reload the page and is coming back
but reloading the page I have lost some games

I have this same problem with the sound. It is a new problem. It never used to happen. Moves not making sounds. I hope someone sorts it out soon.
i used to have occasional problems with sound, but now it seems only when the game start + castle move + few other random moves have sounds. This is very annoying specially in blitz when i always have keep my eyes on the screen to see if opponant have play.
i have many usages for my computer and this problem occur only with chess.com
and sound is activated of course
