Perhaps you didn't realize that you made an additional premove? I know it's happened to me before.
I agree that it is quite the pain, though :-(
Anyone ever have a problem with Premove in Online chess?

I've recently had premoves that fail to happen. I enter a premove and the piece gets drawn in its new position - but usually slightly off-center on its square. It has happend several times recently (probably once a day or so and I play 20 games a day or more). And when this happens I cannot undo the premove in the usual way, nor does it actually get played. I _have_ to play a different move.
And its worse than it sounds because (a) my premove isn't in the system which may mean my clock is ticking even though I think I've played the move and (b) I can't make the move that I want to.
I had this once where I premoved a mate in time trouble. The premove was shown off-centre, and I lost on time trying to figure out why my mate hadn't ended the game.
I made a few premoves in an online game, simple exchanges but after 3 by me and the corresponding few by my opponent I had a minor pieces sort of go off on his own in repsonse to a move I hadn't even begun to consider... Its not a happy move... I rarely use premoves hardly but do on occasion and have never had this happen before. Anyone else ever have a problem??
