App closing and resume game issues

I just had a similar experience. The was app closed and when I loaded it again my live game did not reconnect. This was in a matter of 15 seconds. The board was not allowing me to make a legit move so I closed and reopened. On the old app version it would always reconnect me to a live game in progress. I'm not sure if this will be counted as a loss or not, but if so that really isn't fair.
Also, my finished games are not being updated on the Completed Games list. It could take 15 minutes or more to update the status.
The game finally showed up and and says I resigned? How is it possible to show I resigned when I did not?
if app closes by crashing or by mistake even for few seconds, I return and my game does not resume - I've lost! This is even though I am far ahead. This isn't fair and must be sorted out.
