Resolved: Auto-timeout didn't protect me

I have just lost 6 games on time.

I am a premium member, so I get auto-timeout protection ( http://support.chess.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/26/0/how-does-vacation-work--how-much-time-do-i-get )

This has kicked in a couple of times in the last few days. Each time when I have come off vacation I have made a move in all the games showing I have less than 6 hours left. I thought that would mean that I couldn't possibly lose on time, because the auto-timeout would kick in again if necessary. Am I missing something? Is there some sort of limit on this?

It's certainly not that I am running out of vacation time; I have over a month left.

The games were from this tournament--http://www.chess.com/tournament/speed-960---crazy

on that page it says "This is a "No Vacation" tournament!"

which means you can't use vacation time for games in that tournament.

Thanks.

Damn! How stupid of me. I forgot that there were two classes of tournament, and hence two classes of game, and that therefore auto-protect wouldn't help me. Also I don't think I realised as I signed up that I was going to have 24 games start all at once. Oh well, I live and learn.
