Do unrated games compute into your average opponent numbers?

Nope.  Or else greeter games would be detrimental to one's rating as well ...

Come to think of it. . .

The advantage of playing "not computing" unrated games is that you can play against a higher rated opponent, you loose nothing and can use those games for practice.
