Being billed an annual fee by mistake and support is non-responsive

Hopefully this serves as a warning to anybody who plays here. The support is very non-responsive and just make sure you aren't being charged something on your credit card that you shouldn't.

Anyplace that doesn't give you the option to talk to a human being is a huge red flag.

UPDATE: Everything has been resolved now. It took a while but at least it's worked out. Just wanted to add this for complete transparency.

It doesn't appear that you have a premium membership.

There are instructions in Help on how to cancel a premium membership on your own before it renews.

Human support is still available but they do try to use the bots to answer the questions like yours that come up frequently. There is a link to a form to request a refund.

I am being billed mistakenly. I have gone thru the bots and texted with a "human." NO HELP!

It's a joke.

The pictures I posted showed a link to a refund form.

You just fill that out and you should receive your refund in several days.

@jlanders none of the mods within forums are bots. Also, they are trying to help, and you are verbally abusing them. I understand why you’re frustrated but this won’t help you.

If you followed the prompts, down through the I want a refund you would received a message about being contacted in 1-x days

100% agree with @jlanders000 on this one. There is genuinely a serious problem with chess.com's new support system. They think they've done one of hell of a job with their beyond useless AI Bot chat service. That's designed to test your patience and make themselves as unreachable as possible? 3-5 business days? Absolutely not. They responded to me 21 days later after having found a resolution for my own issue.
