Bizarre cursor movement - wireless keyboard/touch pad

I've had several occasions where the cursor is causing problems while I'm using a Logitech k400r wireless keyboard w/ touchpad.   I'm using Windows, have no problems with other apps.  It only happens with Chess.com.   Lastly, it's intermittent - maybe 3 out of ten logins from this computer.  

This isn't a 'ha-ha, I made bad move and am blaming the hardware' -- the problem with the cursor and this system is making it difficult to play with this configuration.  I have no problems if I'm using a mouse or a trackball in this set up.

I can troubleshoot this a bit, but before I go too far into the weeds I thought I'd ask:  Is there a known bug with Logitech wireless keyboards and Chess.com?
