Try clearing your browser cache. If that doesn’t help, try clearing local storage.

Same here, Cleaned cache, cleaned local storage. No help.

I can play puzzles and live chess but no bots. Tried with Firefox and Edge

Can you double check in Incognito/Private mode?

See the thread "issue loading assets for the game". That is the error message myself and another guy were originally getting a few weeks ago trying to play bots. Then after about a week the error message changed to "Oops! We could not load this Bot. Please check your connection and try again!".

You'll also probably find that in Analysis mode you are no longer able to setup a position or load a previous game and then "Practice vs Computer". In this case there is no error message, the computer will just flash 3 dots indicating it is thinking forever and it will never actually move.

Long story short, you can see the other thread for all the details...

I have a dual-boot system that allows me to select the operating system, Windows 10 or Fedora Linux 42, at boot time. I was having the Oops can not load bot issue under both operating systems using a multitude of browsers. By the process of elimination I came to the conclusion that chess.com had likely introduced a CPU requirement that my 2009 era AMD Phenom II processor was incapable of meeting. The "check your connection" part of the error is bogus, there is nothing wrong with your connection or your browser.
I ordered a 2011 era AMD FX cpu off ebay for $8 plus shipping. It arrived yesterday and as soon as I replaced my AMD Phenom II cpu with it Bots and Practice vs Computer immediately started working again under both Linux and Windows with all browsers.

Hopefully chess.com will find and remove this new requirement of a more recent CPU specification or at least change the error message to reflect what the problem is instead of blaming the connection.

In my case it was definitely the "equipment" since putting in a newer CPU resolved it. Very frustrating though since support says nothing changed on their end which is obviously not true. 100% the problem is not "the connection" as the error message says which is also very frustrating.

Huynh-Trung-Hieu, I don't understand your comment. What do ypu wish to know? Can you explain once more?

Little bit offtopic but similar error with the bots exists at chesskid

Bot loads there but when I make first move it says "Ops there was a server error. Please refresh the page to fix it"

I wrote this comment since I undestand that chess.com and chesskid are somehow related with each other
