My board and pieces settings stopped working. The pieces appear as the default 2-D board. Themes don't work. I've: re-booted; cleared cache; turned themes off/on, and repeated all these several times.

you are not alone! Same for me
Today I selected to turn off the play sounds option, but when I played a chess game after that, there was still sound every time the pieces moved. Is this a bug or something?
