TLDR was, try on the iPhone, Settings > Display & Brightness > View, and make sure that Standard is set instead of Zoomed.

Hello!
I would love to start playing chess after a few years break. However every time I play a non AI opponent, the screen won’t fit the board. I cannot see the time and I cannot play/see the H column. This sadly makes the game unplayable, is there a fix for this?
