Abuse closures could be for a lot of different things. Fore example, multiple accounts will usually end up as abuse. It's also possible that if an account was closed for abuse, the Fair Play team might change it, if there was sufficient proof of cheating. In that latter case, it should result in point refunds but avise closures aren't.

I encountered what I'm 99% sure was a bot account (3 hours old). I came back today to see that it had been closed, but rather than for 'fair play', it was for 'abuse' (which surprised me).
I'm fairly certain it was a cheater account, but because it was closed for 'abuse' does this mean I do not get the loss refunded?
Don't get me wrong, I'm hardly heartbroken over the points (I typically gain or lose the same 200 points each day), but can someone confirm the difference between a 'fair play' and 'abuse' closure when it comes to the people they played?
If people don't get refunded for 'abuse' closures, particularly when they're playing against brand new accounts, surely it could just be a simple manipulation of the system to cheat a bunch of games, then spam racial slurs or something to get an 'abuse' closure rather than 'fair play'?
