The option to play a bot with 1 Crown Assistive, 2 Crowns Friendly, 3 Crowns no help, has disappeared.  These modes are no longer offered.  This is the case on my PC and my Android.

Some members have an updated option. You should have received a dialog on the first launch after the change. Those options are not available anymore.

I don't understand. I did get the dialog box shown. Are you saying the move arrows for assisted are removed entirely? "Earn one crown if you use more help" is using the arrows. To state my issue again, the option to select the mode is not showing up. I have cleared browser history and cache on my PC (Firefox) and Android phone. This mode worked normally during my session and then suddenly disappeared. There should be 3 Crown icons to choose the mode.

I have the same problem - I saw the popup but don't see the place to select crowns. Whenever I start a game, it stays on the same crown level as the previous game.

I have had the same problem since yesterday-unable to select "Challenge" unless I don't sign in. When I don't sign in then I only get a few options of bots to play. Please fix and thank you!

Correct. There is no mode selection anymore on bots, with the exception of the engine only one, as I understand it, if you have the new update.

It's not rolled out to everyone yet.

I have never heard of a game or software update being rolled out sequentially or features being reduced to only select users, other that punitive. Updates are always global. Naturally, this makes me question why Paying members, users who subscribe to utilize a feature, are being denied the feature.

The bot games seem bugged, I normally play the engine instead of personalities but now I can't seem to choose an engine level it's stuck on 1600 but it doesn't play at this level it keeps making bad mistakes, something doesn't seem right

Will the Bot Crown Mode be restored?

Any update on this issue? I cannot select  1 Crown Assistive, 2 Crowns Friendly, 3 Crowns no help,. I was just using this feature last week and now I don't see the option to select assistive, friendly, and no crowns.

The new design does not include crown options. The configurable options are only available on the non-personality engine bots.

Customization options will be coming to personality bots, though not crown options directly. My understanding is any options turned on will result in a single crown being possible.

Ordinarily, this wouldn't be an issue, but I can't seem to find the arrows that play back the previous moves (NOT the undo button, of course, which I can unfortunately press accidentally). I can use the arrow keys on my keyboard or click the algebraic notation, but I'm a LITTLE annoyed.

As far as I understand, they're testing this new feature on some accounts. That's actually very common in Product Design, they'll try it on some users, collect usage data to assess whether this is a good thing, and roll it out for everyone if they think it's an improvement.

I also don't want to always come up with negative comments but I also think the new bots system is not as good as it used to be. It could be easily fixed. Simply provide crowns again to everyone. In case no help (no move had to be taken back or anything like this) give the user three stars by the end of the game and if help was required or a move had to be taken back provide less stars if the user wins the game. Simple solution that would make pretty much everyone here happy in the end. Thank you for listening.
