every time i try to take my oponents pieces, something wont let me. can someone help me?

no, the piece could be unprotected and i still cant take the piece

Zack... you played two games... one where you quit instead of resigning and the second where you quit after the second move. Perhaps you have a sportsmanship issue and not a bug issue.
