Bug with time?

I played a few bullet games today and the time felt really weird. I kept being 10-20 seconds lower than my opponent which really confused me since I made moves considerably faster than them. One game I really focused on the time and my time sometimes goes down by two seconds and I even lose a bit of time after I made my move, while my opponent had GAINED time even tho I without increments?

What you're describing sounds like you were experiencing lag.
