I was playing a bughouse game and this happened. Isn't this checkmate? :

It is not a glitch. White could have placed a piece on d1 (other than a pawn) that would stop checkmate. If your partner's opponent was to capture a minor or major piece, then your opponent could have stopped checkmate.
