Bye-bye, chess.com

It was my last game in chess.com. I was winning the person who had 100 points more than me, but due to program bug in Apple OS I couldn't make any move. His clock was running, but actually it was my clock.

Thank you, it is enough for me, I'd like to play somewhere else.

Bye-bye

Casual_Joe

Sorry to hear about the glitches.

I've had that problem on Android.  If it makes you feel any better, it's caused by a bad connection--it has nothing to do with the app.  That's why I would recommend refraining from playing rated live chess on mobile devices.

Oh, wow.  Surprised

Doesn't that make our replies utterly pointless, though?  Tongue Out

Elubas

Well it was nice knowing you; hope you're in a better place now.

Is that really true?  I haven't heard of people complaining about problems like that with other websites' chess apps.

Well, I've only observed the problem when my connection was spotty or I was moving in a car, bus, etc.  Maybe other chess apps just have more tolerance for small irregularities in the connection.

Never was there a sadder day than this one.

VULPES_VULPES

Never was there a story of more woe

Than that of Myxaxa and his OS of Apple.

If we patzers have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended,
That you have but slumbered here
While this troll-bait did appear.

Jeffreak

And this weak and idle thread,

Myxaxa's account is dead,

Gentles, do not reprehend.

If you pardon, we will mend.

JamieKowalski

My geek meter just exploded.

VULPES_VULPES

"Why?" quoth I.

"Why must he die?"

"Why must his end

From his start so nigh?"

JamieKowalski

I dote on his very absense.

stanhope13

I think you,re overreacting.

Thou dost dote on the tears of his absense.

Like life at its end he doth slowly fade

From us. He answers with acquiescence

To the gleaming decision that he made.

Why do you sweeten sour fruits with fake

And impotent substance which even Death

Could dress Himself for the heedless tongues' sake?

To save the remaining sweet of your breath?

Repair thyself hastily while it rains,

'Fore the flavours of this life slowly wanes.

YAY I WROTE A SONNET!

Wherefore doth suffering grip thy world?

For the virtue of Myxaxa hath departed from us, forevermore.
