can't friend new people (too many pending requests?)

Thanks for your help. However what I mean is that I'm trying to delete PENDING friend requests, which isn't an option in the page you have described.
https://www.chess.com/home/friends/pending ---> Here you can see and delete all your pending requests.
I can't send friend requests to more people because apparently I've "reached my maximum number of pending requests"? How do I delete these?
