Only if we become hackers ourselves.
Can we protect our site from hackers?

I wish that ,when someone "disappears," chess.com would have a mailbox
or page you could just write a message to them. Laskerfan dusappeared, I don't know why, and he was not a super close chess friend of mine, but he WAS a chess friend i really appreciated and now has vanished forever! Same with two others.

how do hackers on chess .com stop their clock and make yours go faster? also how do they add time to their clock ,in the middle of the game? it takes the enjoyment out of playing chess on chess.com.wish they could hire an IT expert to fix it. Must be a flaw in java that allows this.

How do you stop hackers from moving your pieces? It seems they stopped hackers from messing with the time clocks , now they just have to go further and stop them from making it difficult to move your piece. example ,a player hangs his Queen but you are unable to take it because your piece will stop a few squares short of the capture. pretty tricky, but annoying to say the least!

I think there are many fake accounts. It's a mystery. Someone on this thread mentioned media control. That's likely.
